HIV/AIDS  Nigeria

  • Thirteen percent of all HIV infected Africans are Nigerians.


  • Nigeria has approximately 3 million people between the ages of 15 and 49 years reported HIV infected.

  • As estimated half million Nigerians became infected in 1998 alone.

  • In 1998, 140,000 women were reported living with HIV/AIDS.

  • Approximately 72 percent of all HIV infections are among adults under the age of 40 years old.

  • More than 1.4 million children have been orphaned by AIDS.

 

  

 

ABIYE “He lives” Orphanage

 

This ministry project, located in Osogbo, Nigeria, began in 2005.  When it has reached its maximum capacity ABIYE will serve as a home for 48 children that have been affected by the AIDS pandemic in Africa.  Most High Ministries is pleased to partner with African Lifetime Missions on this project.

 

The ABIYE home will provide medical care and love for 48 children.

 

 

The ABIYE Orphanage officially opened the on October 5, 2007.  Praise the LORD!
